NWU students (GKSS) attend Ideathon

The Geekulcha Student Society (GKSS) of the North- West University, Vanderbijlpark campus.

IT Web Security Summit Hackathon hosted an Ideathon at Newton, Johannesburg, on 13 May 2023.

The purpose of this event was to attract individuals from different backgrounds and industry leaders on providing a platform to interact and collaborate in an intensive brainstorming session. Forty of the Geekulcha Student Society (GKSS) students at the North-West University, Vanderbijlpark, attended the Ideathon. This one-day event created a platform for individuals to participate in identifying problems and ideating the most feasible solutions. This creates quality business ideas for future endeavours, increases the profile for security on the web and creates new entrepreneurial and business opportunities.
